Privacy Policy — NEONYX

Last updated: 11 August 2026

NEONYX is a rhythm game published by Illya Kuznetsov. This policy explains exactly what leaves your device and what does not.

Summary: the game has no ads and no advertising identifiers. Nothing about you is collected except what the optional leaderboard sends: the nickname you typed and the score you played. That feature can be switched off in the game's own settings, and then nothing leaves your device at all.

Information we collect

Only when the leaderboard is on — it is on by default and can be turned off at any time in Options → Leaderboard. In that case, when a run ends, the game sends:

We never ask for your real name, e-mail, phone number, contacts, photos or location, and the app cannot read them.

Where that data goes

To our own database hosted by Supabase, which stores it on our behalf. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers and not used for profiling. Leaderboard rows older than 14 days are deleted automatically. Transfer is encrypted (HTTPS).

Information stored on your device only

This never leaves your device, and uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.

Files you save yourself

The game can save a soundtrack file to your device's Music folder if you tap the save button. It is written only to your own device and never uploaded.

Advertising

The current version of NEONYX contains no advertising and no advertising identifiers. If optional rewarded advertising is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is published.

Children

NEONYX is rated for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and the only thing it can ever send is a nickname and a score, which the player controls.

Deleting your data

Turn the leaderboard off and nothing further is sent. To have rows already sent removed sooner than the automatic 14 days, write to neonyx.support@gmail.com and they will be deleted.

Changes

If the app starts doing something this page does not describe, the page is updated before that version is published.
